This section is supposed to be dedicated to giving a brief autobiographical look at me. That's boring though. So instead, I'm going to talk about what it is that I do. Trust me, it's better this way. Ha ha.
I created this blog because one talent I do have is recognizing quality when I see it, and now I want to share it. I came across MMT and knew immediately that it was a goldmine. Previous to MMT I spent years as a registered representative with Vanguard, licensed in both the Series 6 and 63. That doesn't mean that I'm an expert trader. In fact, I knew very little about the stock market and all things pertaining to brokerage accounts, etc. My job and expertise had nothing to do with trading. Instead, I learned about investing there. Above all I took to heart the lesson that to be subject to market fluctuations without having control over trading decisions can be scary and dangerous. I witnessed first hand when customers' retirement money lost 50% of its value in 2 years. I spent a lot of time trying to convince people not to sell their mutual funds back when the DOW was free-falling down into the 6000's. What I learned is that when you are a long-term investor, your only hope is that the market goes up, because that's the only way you'll make any money (and in these economic times you're lucky to average more than 5% annually, and an extremely good investor to be up past 10%).
What I love about MMT is that they provide the education to help regular people safely navigate trading waters and show you how simple it is to be very profitable in an up or down market. Trading is not only for market experts. It's not only for the elite. You don't have to be an analytical mastermind to make good money trading. Regular people like you and I can do it from home. That's why I created this blog. To prove that it's possible to turn regular people into traders because the right tools are at your fingertips.
MMT's mission is to put a trader in every home.
I think that it's only a matter of time for that to become a reality.
